How do I get an account?
Accounts are created by the business owner. There is no public sign-up: the owner adds you as a team member and sends you a login email so you can set your own password.
Why does the app ask for my location?
Only to confirm you are at the café when you clock in or out. The app checks your position once, at the moment you tap a clock button, and you must be within about 100 metres of your branch. It does not track you at any other time.
It says my GPS is not accurate enough
Step outside or near a window, make sure Location Services and precise location are switched on for Castle Workforce, then try again. If it still fails, ask your manager to record the time for you — every manager correction is logged.
I forgot to clock out
Tell your manager. They can correct the time with a reason, and the change is recorded in the activity log.
What is “Clock Extra Time”?
If you keep working past your scheduled finish, clock out as normal and use Clock Extra Time to record the additional period separately, so the extra hours are clearly visible to the owner.
How does weekly availability work?
Every week starts fresh and nothing carries over: you are treated as available unless you say otherwise for that specific week. Availability is a guide for the manager, not a block — they may still schedule you if the café needs cover, and you will see the shift in your schedule.
How do I turn shift reminders on or off?
Open Settings → Notifications. You can turn reminders on or off for each device.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings → Delete my account, type DELETE and confirm. Your login and personal details are erased straight away. Pay and working-time records that the employer must keep by law are retained for the legal period — see the Privacy Policy.
